Dr. Ayaz Madraswalla, long-time volunteer and former Board Member, is challenging himself to hike to the summit of Mount Washington to support HHI's work for the sixth year in a row! He'll be climbing the mountain on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Each year's hike is an exciting but exhausting journey.
Ayaz has exceeded his fundraising goal each year - please help him beat it once again!
Supporting this campaign means supporting all of the underserved people in the Puerto Plata region of the Dominican Republic whom HHI serves. In 2019, HHI was able to accomplish so much thanks to donors like you! In addition to providing care through our field clinics, HHI empowered 27 Community Health Workers with knowledge and tools to improve the health of their neighbors; trained more than 500 healthcare professionals in better diabetes and hypertension prevention and management; and taught nearly 100 people about better nutrition, wellbeing, and mental health through our Sano y Feliz support groups.
